1892 $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS64+ (CAC) FAIRMONT

No question this is a totally fresh and original near miss GEM!

To the naked eye the surfaces are not only are clean and smooth, but they offer traces of semi-proof like mirrors (which stand out). Only when using a strong glass can you find light ticks scattered about-NONE are visible to the naked eye. The luster is delightfully strong. Both sides are a GEM original deeper yellow gold color. There is some totally original toning by the rims only on the reverse. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 328, NGC 100, CAC 34. PCGS has graded 28 in MS64+. Obviously, there are several re-submissions for this date and grade. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $2,040.00 08/23. The current Collectors Universe value is $1,850.00.
