There are MS64+, then there is this, MS64+. The quality is really knocking on MS65’s door here!
Overall, the surfaces offer nothing more than a few frost breaks/tiny ticks. We used a strong glass and found nothing to disappoint us. There is a micro dot grease mark well-hidden on the obverse. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides area GEM original gold color. This coin clearly has NOT been dipped or messed with in any way. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 157, NGC 78, CAC 18. PCGS has graded possibly 12 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought a crazy $20,400.00 04/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $20,000.00. This is far from being a common date. It’s only the second one we have ever handled (the last was back in 2017). This coin will be a great addition to any GEM set!
