We are very proud of this little SUPERB GEM. No question it is VERY HIGH END!
Deep mirrors offer a ton of flash. The mirrors have superb clarity too. Only when using a strong glass can you see a small planchet issue on the reverse (does not affect the grade at all). When you twirl the coin, the mirrors do have a bold “watery” like roll. The contrast is strong too. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have generous frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 16, NGC 12, CAC 18. We suspect a coin was resubmitted a few times by the CAC number. The market has changed quite a bit on coins like this. The prices have moved up. There is a Collectors Universe value of $3,500.00. This is the kind of coins heading into that deep black hole from the apps. Regardless, if your building a collection, this coin will make a great fit!
