This is a really nice and HIGH-END coin!
Superior surfaces are satiny, are pretty clean overall, and are smooth looking. Only when using a strong glass can you find some frost breaks and some widely scattered tiny ticks. A good luster can be seen from all over. Boths dies area GEM original gold color. There are no copper spots where. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and are loaded with gentle frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 308, NGC 187, CAC 20. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $7,200.00 04/2022. The current published numbers are behind in today’s fast-paced gold market. For sure this is a date and grade that is seen infrequently!
