1897 $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS65 (CAC)

Ah ha! A non 1899 or 1901! We hardly ever see this date in GEM. And this coin is really nice!

There are a few ticks scattered about-however they can only be seen with a strong glass. The surfaces have a satiny look. The luster is strong all over and does seen to emit a “halo” effect. Both sides are a GEM even gold color. The obverse has faint orange around the rims only. There are no spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 38, NGC 81, CAC 14. The price guides show no auction sales in 4 years. The current CDN is $3,200.00/$4,000.00. A date and grade you just do not see often.
