1897-S $20 Gold Liberty Type 3 PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

We are very picky about the MS64+ $20 Libs we buy. No question this is a real MS64+!

Wonderful surfaces have just a few small and scattered ticks/scuffs. You really need a glass to see them-nothing stands out. There also is thin grease line by the face (need a glass to see). A full booming cartwheel luster radiates from across the room. This coin is NOT dipped or messed with. Both sides are a superb even deep gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 881, NGC 489, CAC 155. PCGS has graded 103 in MS64+. The last one to sell in auction brought $3,380.00 09/20. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,500.00. Keep in mind, the Fairmont coin just sold for $19,000.00-as a 64+!!! And the next step up (PCGS CAC) if you could find one, would cost at least $25,000.00. As we all know, PCGS CAC pieces are VERY difficult to find today.
