We LOVE this remarkable VERY HIGH END SUPERB GEM!
Superior surfaces are wonderful to view. The surfaces are super clean and have a thick satiny like look. There is just some well hidden tiny lines that keep this from a +. The luster is strong. Both sides have a GEM original “skin” and area deeper gold color with pale pinkish highlights. There are no flecks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 17, NGC 8, CAC 6. This was the last 1899 PCGS MS 67 CAC to sell via auction. That was back on 06/2022. The current price guides have not yet caught up to the value. A great coin for the high grade $2.5 Lib collector! We can not stress enough how coins like this are becoming impossible to find. You can not buy coins like this cheap anymore.
