1900 50C PCGS PR-64

This is one of those unlucky coins that was graded after PCGS went on its terror spree and refused to grade coins right. Technically, this coin has the characteristics of a PR65 (we do NOT guarantee if you cracked it it would 65). We do not see any major problems, so we do rank this in the top 5% for the grade. PCGS probably felt the color wasn’t commercially strong enough to warrant a PR65. The mirrors are amazingly clean and do offer tons of reflectivity. An even moderate mix of navy/olive/blue/purple colors cover both sides. Every detail is needle sharp. The eye appeal is terrific! PCGS 48, NGC 53.
