Exceedingly deep mirrors are the type you could get lost in. The mirrors are clean and have great clarity. You barely have to twirl the coin to see the vivid, watery-like roll of the mirrors. Both sides have light to moderate shades of totally original lavender (this is NOT a dull coin), pale blue, gold, and champagne. The contrast is good. Miss Liberty and the details are needle-sharp in strike and have good frost (remember this is a 1902—NOT an 1898). The eye appeal is heart-pounding!
Only 777 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 2 pieces in PR67+ with NONE higher. The other coin sold for $16,800.00 back in 01/2021. A lot of time has passed since then, with the big black hole only getting larger and deeper.
