What an adorable example of a date that does not come all that nice!
Immaculate looking surfaces reveal only some minor chatter when a strong glass is put to them. The coin has a thick satiny texture. A strong luster beams from all over. All original: thicker gold opens into lighter gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck and have a dusting of frost. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 334, NGC 328, CAC 25. As you know gold is hotter than a pistol. The price guides have not caught up. This date is far rarer than the commoner 1904 (pop 6,479 in MS65). In this market, you cannot find either!
