1905 $2.50 Gold Liberty PCGS MS66+ (CAC)

Coins like this are great values at today’s prices-especially when the coin is this nice!

The surfaces are remarkably clean and have a thick satiny texture. The luster is moderate and is also satiny. Both sides are evenly toned an original gold color and are framed by the slightest trace of pale greenish gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 369, NGC 365, CAC 115. PCGS has graded 44 coins MS66+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,800.00 05/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $2,000.00.  As time goes by, fewer coins will make the grade and even fewer will be offered. Plus, gold seems to have slowed its run for now.
