HUBBA BUBBA! What a great and near miss MS67 this SUPERB GEM is!
Only a few scattered light frost breaks (which you need to use a strong glass to see) are visible. There is a tiny copper stain underneath Miss Lib’s eye. The surfaces appear satiny smooth. A strong glowing like luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy a gorgeous and totally original gold/pale greenish/pale reddish gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are lightly frosted. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 20, NGC 21, CAC 13 (probably some resubs). The current Collectors Universe Value is $6,000.00-which obviously has not been adjusted for the current market. Next step up costs $25,000.00! GEM Gold like this is impossible to find these days.
