1906 $20 Gold Liberty Type 3 PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

In the “old days” PRE slabs, no question this coin would have been graded an MS65. We would not own it unless it was VERY HIGHEND!

We LOVE everything about this coin! In our opinion, the reverse is a full MS65. The surfaces are amazingly clean and are satiny smooth. Even when using a strong glass, all you can find is a scattered TINY tick or two. A strong luster beams from all over. Both sides are a GEM original greenish gold by the rims and even gold centers. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is heart pounding!

PCGS 30, NGC 15, CAC 7. PCGS has possibly graded 2 in MS64+. The current Collector Universe value is $35,000.00. Back in 2021 (before gold coins went nutso) a PCGS MS64+ CAC sold for $33,600.00. We feel strongly we bought this SUPERB coin right and are offering at a VERY good value.
