No question this coin is HIGH END. What makes it so special-the incredible luster. WOW! We LOVE this absolute GEM!
Overall, the surfaces appear clean. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few scattered and TINY ticks (plus a surprising planchet flake or two-all microscopic). We can’t get over the MONSTER luster this piece has. Turn out the lights and glows in the dark. Both sides a brilliant yellow gold color with deeper gold by the rims. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are gently frosted and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is AMAZING!
PCGS 36, NGC 22, CAC 10. The last PCGS piece to sell via auction was a NON CAC that brought $10,800.00 05/2025. The current Collectors Universe value is only $8,750.00. It is our strong opinion, this date and grade are severely UNDER appreciated. Good luck finding another right now.
