Keep in mind, this date does not come looking as nice as a 27 or 28. For sure this coin is HIGH END!
The surfaces have only tiny scattered abrasions that you need a strong glass to see. Nothing stands out. The luster is good and beams well all over. Both sides are a GEM original gold color. There is slight “dirtyness” due to the coins originality. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 1265, NGC 464, CAC 87. PCGS has graded 53 in MS65+. Powerful statement that CAC has beamed so few. vs the pop There has NOT been a PCGS CAC MS65+ auctioned since 2019! Somehow, the current Collectors Universe is $6,250.00. This is a great example of a very underrated date in GEM. A PCGS CAC MS 66 would cost at least $12,500.00+++!
