1913 $2.50 Gold Indian PCGS MS65+ (CAC)
$11,250.00
This date is famous for not appearing in nice condition. It is above average for sure. We rank this piece as HIGH END!
The only thing holding this back from an MS66 is a small cut/line on the dreaded right reverse that you need a glass to see. Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. A moderate luster is visible. Both sides have a soft, original, deeper gold color. There is a small microscopic copper toning dot hidden on the obverse. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 191, NGC 139, CAC 44. PCGS has graded 17 in MS65+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $9,900.00 back in 2021! The current Collectors Universe value is $11,500.00. It is important to note that the ONLY PCGS CAC MS66 is in our Half Dome Collection—and that cost him $38,400.00 in 2022.
This coin will be a wonderful addition to any GEM $2.5 Indian set!
