1914-S $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS65 (CAC)

A very nice and VERY HIGH END GEM!

Exceptional surfaces appear clean overall. Only when using a strong glass can you see some tiny scattered ticks. The surfaces texture is thick and satiny. A strong luster beams from all over. Both sides are a beautiful and totally original GEM pale orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations (there is a small grease stain in the E of states on the rev-harmless). Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 2360, NGC 1433, CAC 132. The current PCGS CAC price guide says the value is $4,000.00 and has not caught up to the new market. A note: We can’t even find common dates like 1924’s in GEM MS65 these days!!! There were NO PCGS CAC 1914-S MS 65’s for sale on Collectors Corner either.
