We are students of this silent series “stopper”. We bought both the 62+ and 63+ because we know we won’t see others for years! This coin is VERY HIGH END and well worthy of its designation.
Choice surfaces have minimal chatter and just a few tiny cuts. The dreaded right reverse field is seriously above average in cleanliness. For a 14S, the luster is strong. There is some light original toning but this coin is NOT “dirty”. Both sides are a mellow gold color. There are NO spot or discolorations on any of the highpoints. All of the details are crisply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 319, NGC 101, CAC 14. PCGS has graded 5 in MS62+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,756.00 back in 2017-forever ago now. Teh current Collectors Universe is still to low at $7,500.00. If you collect choice $5 pieces, then you should not pass this wonderful piece up!
