Bought this VERY HIGH END GEM from a crack out dealer who was trying for an MS66.Oops!
Superb surfaces are exceedingly clean. There are a few microscopic scattered ticks, but you have to look hard for them. The surface texture is satiny. A full booming cartwheel luster engulfs both sides. The color is a totally original rick gold with faint orange gold splashes. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 2414, NGC 1861, CAC 180. PCGS has graded 72 in MS65+. We’d put this coin against any others quality. On 12/2023 one sold via auction for $4,680.00. It was not as nice as this coin! The current Collectors Universe value is $6,000.00. An FYI: originally the owners of this coin wanted $5,500.00 from us. It took a few min to get it where we could buy it.
