WOW! This coin is a 69.5+! Really! For sure, it is one of the nicest 5C 1916 we have seen in a very long time.
Immaculate surfaces are as clean and matte like as you will ever see. We used a strong glass and could not find even a microscopic fleck or spot anywhere. There actually is a strong luster that comes through some light toning. Both sides are evenly covered by a GEM original mix of gold/faint green/faint crimson colors. Every detail (especially the rims are fully struck. The eye appeal is super!
PCGS 43, NGC 30, CAC 24. PCGS has graded only 5 coins in PR67+. It is critical to know the 5C 1916 PCGS MS67+ was NOT CAC and it brought $11,424.00 08/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $15,000.00. we hardly ever see these beaned. This is a great coin to add to any great set!
