This is NOT the same coin we sold last week. Suprisingly, this coin is of equal quality.
Exceptionally clean and smooth surfaces dominate the coin. Only when using a strong glass can you find just one or two ticks. The surfaces have a thicker satiny texture. The luster is glowing and beams strongly all over. Both sides area GEM ORIGINAL gold color with pale pinkish gold centers. No question the coin is original. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 1344, NGC 734, CAC 106. PCGS has graded 58 in MS66+ (we do not know how many are CAC). The current Collectors Universe value is $14,500.00. There are only 2 CAC pieces higher-both on major sets. The last one of those old at auction brought $132,000.00 in 2022. We’d bet $175,000.00 couldn’t get that coin to come out. This coin presents a terrific opportunity for a serious Saint collector/lover.
