1C 1802 PCGS MS63+BN S-226 BLUE LAKE

A hard coin not love. This coin easily meets PCGS, CAC and Legend’s strict standards for what a MS63 needs to be. This coin was struck on a problem free planchet. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Even when looking around using a strong glass you will NOT be disappointed. The surfaces do exhibit a light glossy luster. This coin is original and ha not been brushed or oiled (so rare to be so good). Both sides are a moderate brown with a few tiny patches of toning. Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck and do boldly stand out. The eye appeal is exceptional! PCGS 12, NGC 1, CAC 5. This is the only MS63BN graded. Obviously it has never appeared in any auctions. The Blue Lake Collector bought this coin over 15 years ago and has lovingly had it in his massive  and incredible collection.  We hardly ever see quality like this any more on 216 year old copper coins (even with all the auctions that occured in the last 3 years). Opportunity knocks loud here!
