Overall, the surfaces are problem free (no hits). The planchet has some light porosity-not horrible by any stretch. There is a cool rim cud at 1-2:00 on the obverse. Both sides are a deeper brown. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details show even wear and still have decent strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 1. Yet again, this is another rare date. The last one to sell in auction brought $20,700.00 back in 02/2013. You have to understand, 5 years ago is forever-ago! This coin was in the Blue Moon set since 2003 and was only recently replaced by the $540,000.00 PCGS MS63BN from Pogue.
The Blue Lake Collector did all the hard work for you by finding this RARE coin!
