1C 1805 PCGS MS62BN
$11,000.00
This coin probably will never MS63BN simply because PCGS grades scared and really tough on coins like this. We can’t find ANY reason why it is just an MS62 (we do NOT promise it will ever 63)!
First, the coin is actually struck on a very decent planchet. There is no porosity or major problems anywhere. In fact, the surfaces are smooth and have a nice glossy luster. You can even see a few minor die clashes (Mint made). Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. You do not need a glass to se anything. The eye appeal of this coin is heart pounding beautiful!
PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 4 (we think this coin maybe represented twice at CAC). PCGS has ONLY graded 5 coins higher! The last time one of these sold in auction was back in 2006! It brought $7,500.00 back then.
We love the quality, rarity, and value this coin represents. Remember, this coin is from 1805-thats 206 years ago and is still nearly in the condition it left the Mint! yeah, we say Opportunity Knocks a lot, here-it uses a cannon!
