1C 1805 PCGS MS63+BN S-276 GRAYSON

$22,500.00

We are not kidding when we tell you  this cataloger is so madly in love with it she has kept it on her desk every day since it arrived here  (must be the secret copper weenie in her). This coin is incredible! Amazing surfaces are exceedingly clean  and smooth. Even when using a strong glass all you can see are a few microscopic old ticks/cuts. You can also see tiny bits of die clashing (Mint made). The planchet is above average too. There is a light gloss like luster spread all over. Both sides are an even and totally original chocolate brown color. No question this coin was never messed with. Miss Liberty really is the star of the coin. She is so fully struck she looks  like she was carved out of a chocolate bar. The appearance of this coin defies what an MS 63 should be (we’ve so many pitted and just lousy coins). We love it! PCGS  2, NGC 3, CAC 2. This is the lone MS 63+ graded by PCGS. There are only 5 coins possibly graded higher by PCGS. We can tell you the last PCGS CAC MS63 sold for $16,450.00 01/2014-FIVE years ago! Having represented some of the biggest players in early copper, we can tell you with extreme confidence you won’t see many early large cents at all looking this awesome! Opportunity uses a bull horn here!
