1C 1812 SM DT PCGS AU-55

This is such a cool coin! Very little wear is visible-even using a strong glass. There are NO discolorations at all. A thin and light old cut is on the obverse, but unless you know its there you won’t see it. The surfaces are a beautiful deep chocolate brown semi-glossy color. There actually seems to be a trace of luster. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Even if you are the ultimate copper slave, you will find this coin hard to beat! Throw out the published bids for these-the last piece brought $6,325.00 in a major auction. Prior to that, in 2003 one sold for $4,300.00. There definitely is opportunity for the right collector here. PCGS has graded 11.
