1C 1818 PCGS MS64BN N-1 NAFTZGER
If this coin were in an MS65BN holder, we would not flinch. It does walk and talk!
We totally agree with the description from the auction catalog: Frosty light olive brown with hints of sea green overtone very delicately mottled with slightly darker chocolate brown toning on the upper part of the obverse, including a splash of slightly darker brown toning just right of star 5. The surfaces are satiny and lustrous. Late die state with a series of small rim cud breaks extending from star 3 to halfway between stars 4 & 5, and these cuds are slightly stronger than those on the previous example. We’d like to add, the eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!
PCGS 53, NGC 91, CAC 5. This coin was lot 53 in the Naftzger Sales. It sold for $1,553.00. A similar CAC’d coin sold for $1,265.00 02/11 Heritage.
WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
