One look and you will wonder why PCGS did not designate this coin MS64RD. It sure is that close.
The surfaces are actually ultra clean and smooth. Some slightly irregular toning tries to confuse the eyes and make you think otherwise. The toning is light and is scattered. BUT it maybe why PCGS won’t designate the coin a full RED. There are some teenie and light toning dots. An intense luster booms from across the room. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 126, NGC 6, CAC 17. The last PCGS CAC one of these to sell brought only $1,645.00 10/2014 Stacks. We assure you, that coin was no where near as RED or high end as this piece!
