How can you not love a GEM early Large Cent that is nearly FULL MINT RED? We love it especially since it is problem free too. There are two teenie toning dots on the obverse rim at 1-2:00 and that’s it. The surfaces show a teenie contact mark or two with nothing big or detracting. A moderate luster really enhances the outrageous totally original colors of 75% GEM MINT RED/pale brown that swirl all over. There are NO other spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 13, NGC 1, CAC 3. We do not believe this coin is comparable to any other because of how much red and how high quality it is. Regardless, the last one of these to be auction sold for $2,938.00 1/2014 Goldberg.
