This coin clearly is Brown-however you can clearly see hints of GEM Mint RD around the devices and on the reverse.
We LOVE these coins when the surfaces have the gorgeous glossy smooth look. Not only is there luster, it seems like the coin is slight semi-prooflike. There are NO marks other than a teenie die flake or two. Also, there are NO spots. The color is as we mentioned is totally ORIGINAL brown with hints of red (a lot on the reverse). Miss Liberty is fully struck while there is minor weakness in the stars at 11:00-1:00. Overall, the coin has killer quality and eye appeal!
PCGS 1, NGC 5, CAC 2. PCGS has graded 3 higher in BN (all MS66BN). There is one MS65RB (which sold for $19,550.00 in 09). This coin was lot 607 in the Nafztger sale. It brought only $4,370.00. We can’t be asking a more fair price!
