We can only applaud PCGS on how they grade Large Cents. They have the toughest standards by far for calling a coin RB. This coin is really a GEM!
Virtually perfect surfaces are smooth and don’t even have one single tick. The luster is moderate to light. Both sides have awesome ORIGINAL GEM Brown/20% GEM faded Mint Red colors. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 59, NGC 107, CAC 16. Don’t really care too much what the others look like-this coin is neat! The last one to sell in major auction brought $940.00 02/2013 Heritage. At $1,000.00 to be able to buy a GEM 163 year old copper coin? Seems like great value to us!
