PCGS got the grade wrong. It should have been a MS66.9+++++! What a stunning SUPERB GEM.
We rarely see GEM large cent like this. The surfaces are impeccably clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass yields you zero imperfections. There are some interesting Mint made die lines (maybe clash marks) behind the neck. An original and unbroken luster booms from all over. The coin has a semi glossy look. Both sides are a totally original SUPERB GEM Mint Red/pale brown/pale blue color. There are no spots or discolorations any where. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and boldly stand out. The eye appeal is plane crazy!
PCGS 40, NGC 71, CAC 27. PCGS has graded only 2 coins MS66+ BN. There are NO records of either coin ever selling via auction. Note: a MS66BN was sold for $3,360.00 07/2018. When you se this coin, you will not even consider the ridiculously reasonable price we are selling it for. This coin is closer to being an MS67 worth $10,000.00 then a regular MS66. The eye appeal and quality at THAT gonzo!
