1C 1856 FE PCGS PR64 GRAYSON COLLECTION

This is a super nice piece. It is totally fresh to the market having been purchased by the Grayson Collector back in 1999! Immaculate surfaces are great to start with. The obverse is covered by a deeper golden brown toning but the reverse shows the brilliance of the mirrors quite well. The reverse has some toning dots-not flecks or spots. Both sides are remarkably clean. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and stands out boldly. The eye appeal is very pleasing! PCGS 212, NGC 122, CAC 55. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $21,735.00 02/2018. Even the current Collectors Universe value shows $20,500.00. Looking this good and being this fresh certainly makes for a coin you want to own!
