1C 1858 FE PCGS MS66

We have not seen one as fresh and GEMMY as this in many years! And when we did the prices were $12-$17,000.00. This coin is nothing less then outstanding! The quality is all there and then some. We do consider this coin to be high end. The ONLY thing we see that keeps this coin from an MS66+ grade are a few microscopic toning dots by the date. The surfaces overall are absolutely pristine-even if you put a strong glass to them. A bold glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are a SUPER totally original pale reddish copper color. Every detail is so pinpoint sharp in strike you do not need a glass to see the fine points. We cannot say enough about the phenomenal eye appeal! PCGS 38, NGC 27, CAC 7. This is a critical fact: the last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $11,162.00 01/2015. We bought that coin and placed it in a major collection. Have not seen or handled any since. A few bad NON CAC coins sort of hurt the value. Regardless. if you are a sticker for true quality, this is your coin! This is a coin worthy of the finest collection.
