This coin is a stone ORIGINAL GEM. The surfaces are pretty much immaculate. There are slight traces of prooflike mirrors that bond with a super strong luster. Some faint microscopic toning dots are scattered about. The color is a natural tan/pale gold. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is like the quality-AMAZING!
PCGS 26, NGC 21, CAC 4. PCGS has graded ONLY ONE coin higher. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $14,950.00-3 years ago in 01/2011 Heritage. This coin is really not comparable. Had this been offered in a major auction, you’d probably be paying much more than what we are asking. If you are building a SUPERB GEM FE or Type set, you MUST see this coin in person!
