We love super high end coins like this. To us, finding a 153 year old Civil War piece in such a magnificent state of preservation is amazing. Superior surfaces are devoid of even the most microscopic issues. The surfaces are also incredibly smooth. You can actually see a faint trace of prooflike mirrors. A good luster illuminates the even and totally original colored copper nickel surfaces. There are ZERO spots or stains. Every detail is fully struck and has light frost. The eye appeal is great!
