Obviously it was a bad day when this coin was graded by PCGS. We see no visible reason as to why this coin is only a PR65RB. Shimmering mirrors are fresh, clear, super clean, and of course highly reflective. A beautiful color mix of gold/golden brown/mint red/amber colors swirls vividly on both sides. There are NO spots anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. This is far superior to most other 1872’s you’ll ever see. PCGS 65, NGC 42.
