1C 1882 PCGS PR65 RD

This is a totally original, brilliant RED Proof Indian Head cent.

Highly reflective mirrors flash with a bold brilliance in the fields that contrast with the frosted devices. The mirrors do exhibit strong clarity (so many do not). There are NO problems to be found. Varied shades of totally original MINT RED red beam all over (there is a slight hint of original toning-the coin is NOT turning color), giving this lovely coin a great look.

PCGS 22, NGC 9, CAC 4. The current PCGS CAC Price Guide says $1,280.00. Considering  JUST 4 are beaned with ONLY 2 higher-that value is way too low. We were mystified why this coin is not worth $2,500.00. This coin in our opinion has been completely over looked by the market (we make no promises, but we think time will work the value out).
