Beaming with totally original, fiery mint red luster, this coin is exceptional in every way. The luster is intensely brilliant with a wonderful golden overtone. The devices are sharply impressed on both sides, with no softness anywhere. A tiny tick or two, and a few micro-flecks (need to look really hard with a glass to see them) are all that keep this SUPERB coin from an even higher grade. Regardless, the eye appeal ranks among the very FINEST 1887 cents that survives!
