PCGS was extra evil tight on this wonderful GEM!
We see no real reason as to why this coin is not a PR66RB. The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. A wicked cool color scheme of ORIGINAL MINT RED/gold/tan swirl all over. the tan color is from the mixture of the metal. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is intense!
PCGS 66, NGC 63, CAC 4. The last 1898 to sell in major auction was a NON CAC which brought $805.00 02/2008 Stacks. These are not as easy to find (especially w/colors like this). Opportunity knocks loud for the picky colored PR Indian cent collector!
