1C 1909 LINCOLN PCGS PR67 RD

$14,000.00

This is an absolutely STUNNING example of the first year of the Lincoln Matte Proofs.

It is virtually pristine, with uber smooth fields, bold red color and brilliant luster, and razor sharp devices. Totally original, this coin offers a band of deeper red toning along the lower left reverse rim, angling up from below the right tip of the wheat stalk, and up and along the lower edge of the left wheat stalk. A single fleck, across from the U in UNITED also serves a a pedigree marker. The eye appeal is awesome in every way.

PCGS 8, NGC 0, CAC 6. PCGS possibly has graded 3 higher. The most recent example sold for $13,513.00 12/2019.  Prior to that one sold in 2016 ANA auction for $14,687.00 Clearly these do not appear with any real frequency. The current PCGS CAC Price Guide value is listed at $18,200.00. . None of the higher graded coins have ever appeared at auction. This coin is the FINEST you can possibly own!
