Every one knows Jack Lee was the godfather of the Morgan Dollar world having assembled the BEST collection ever. Few people knew he was also a closet “penny weenie”. He has assembled on the top Lincoln Cent collections of all time. With Jack (who we knew well), nothing would stop him from finding and acquiring the BEST quality. We are pleased to own and offer this magnificent 09S VDB pedigreed back to Jack Lee. The outstanding quality of this piece is worthy not only of Jacks great collection-but ANY assembled. The surfaces are exceptionally clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass there are no problems or small spots to be found. A strong luster shows off totally original and slightly faded GEM Mint Red color. No, this coin is NOT turning color. There is a touch of light toning streaks on the right obverse field. All totally original.  Lincoln and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is exceptional! PCGS 205, NGC 39, CAC 29. PCGS has graded 17 in MS66+. There are 14 MS67’s that still sell for $90,000.00+ even if NOT CAC!  The last PCGS CAC MS66+ RD sold for $30,550.00 01/2016.
