1C 1944 PCGS MS63 EX SIMPSON CAC

Legend Numismatics is proud to offer a legendary rarity from an amazing collection: the Simpson 1C 1944 Steel PCGS MS63 CAC. This coin is VERY HIGH END in quality. Struck a steel planchet, this coin shows no real problems. There are NO scuffs or lines visible. We are hard pressed as to why it is only a MS63. Unquestionably, this piece has never been messed with in any way. Both sides do display a strong luster which illuminates the original steel color. Lincoln and all of the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous-especially when you realize its only an MS63! LESS THEN EIGHT 1944 P Steel cents are known. PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher (both 64’s)of which one is a Simpson coin and is NOT CAC. This coin had traded in a private treat sale. There is NO record of this ever selling in auction. The current Collectors Universe Value is $80,000.00-which today may seem a bit too strong. Still, the next step up is at least $100,000.00 (one sold for $158,625.00 08/2013). Even an NGC AU58 sold for $30,550.00 back in 11/2013. Opportunity knocks only this one time for the serious Lincoln Cent buyer.
