$2.5 1830 PCGS MS64+

We love these early $2.5 pieces. Most have been messed with in some way. When they are original like this they have some looks! This in is also VERY HIGH END in quality.

Fantastic surfaces are clean and smooth overall. If you use a strong glass just a few lines, a small patch of rough planchet, and only a tick or two can be found. We do consider this a problem free coin. The surfaces are also semi-prooflike (really more closer to fully prooflike). You do not need an imagination to see the mirrors. The flash/luster is intense. Both sides are a brilliant yellow gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have gentle frost. There is a nearly invisible adjustment mark or two in the bonnet. You really need a glass to see them. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 1. This is the ONLY MS64+ graded by PCGS or NGC. It has never been sold at auction. in fact, its been 3 years since any 1830 in MS64 (no CAC) has been sold. We’re told this a fresh coin to the market. It certainly is an extremely rare coin. Even in AU these are $20,000.00 coins. Opportunity knocks so loud here for this Classic Head treasure!
