$2.5 1839-D PCGS MS62

We think this coin is SUPER HIGH END. We are scratching our heads why PCGS did not at least + it. Outstanding surfaces are clean and are super smooth. You need a really strong glass to see the ultra light lines that keep it from am MS63+! Finding a 39-D with nice surfaces is virtually impossible so this coin is SUPER special. For a 39D, it emit a surprisingly strong luster unbroken luster. Both sides are a super and totally original rich gold color. There are ZERO discolorations of any size. Even more impressive, Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and actually stand out. We promise you this coin is NOT an AU62. The eye appeal is exceptional! PCGS 7, NGC 2, CAC 1. Do not worry about the pops, the ONLY other 39D beaned in MS is a 64. That coin sold for well OVER $105,000.00 a couple of years ago. This is the ONLY 39S in MS with a CAC bean you can buy-period. These just come so ratty, we can’t see another popping up. We can not stress how high end and really superb this piece is. We did not hesitate to pay up for it-we know we’ll probably not see one again for many years-if ever. For sure, this is a Legend quality coin!
