$2.5 1862 PCGS MS63

$11,500.00

This is a great example of a tougher coin to find from our Civil War Era. The surfaces exhibit nothing more then a few wispy lines and a few light and scattered ticks. You really need a glass to see them. A full booming luster can be seen from feet away. Both sides are a brilliant light gold color. There are no discolorations or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 11, NGC 4, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 3 coins finer after 30+ years of operations. The extreme rarity of this date in ALL grades of MS can NOT be over hyped. NO PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold via a major auction. The last PCGS piece to sell , was a NON CAC which brought $8,342.00 in 2016. This lovely piece a “must have” for any Civil War set!
