Very HIGH END quality. There is no question why this coin is tied for FINEST graded! Immaculate surfaces are a joy to bold. Only when using a strong glass can you find a dash or two of Mint grease and alight frost break. There are NO scuffs or ticks. The surfaces have a thick satiny texture. For the date, the luster is strong. Both sides are a GEMMY original pale orange gold/deep gold color. There are no discolorations or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 3. This coin last sold in 2014 for $24,500.00. There are NO other auction records for this date and grade. This is the only example we have ever seen in MS66. Even the current Collectors Universe Values the coin at $25,000.00.
