No question this coin has been carefully stored since it left the Mint 138 years ago. The quality is HIGH END. Wonderful surfaces are clean overall. Only with a strong glass can you find a few light frost breaks. The surfaces do appear satiny smooth. A strong luster illuminates the beautiful and totally original greenish gold rims and orange gold centers. There are no copper spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 41, NGC 29, CAC 8 . NO PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold via auction. We feel very strongly we bought his GEM right and are offering it at a VERY fair price!
