$2.5 1889 PCGS MS65+

$10,750.00

We have been students of $2.5 Libs all our careers. We can tell how UNDER RATED a date like this is-especially in this condition. We do very much grade this coin an MS65.8++!

Overall, the surfaces are satiny smooth and are pretty clean. ONLY when using a strong glass and looking hard will you find a few scattered lines and some ultra light frost breaks. A fabulous full booming luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides enjoy an even and original yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 12, NGC 9, CAC 5. There only 2 MS65+ with just one coin graded higher. The last 1889 to sell in auction was a NON CAC piece that brought $10,200.00 10/2020. The current Collectors Universe Value is $12,000.00. If you collect GEM $2.5 pieces, this will be the best one you can buy for a very long time! Opportunity knocks loud here!
