What an amazing ULTRA CAMEO GEM. This coin just about glows in the dark!
Beyond ULTRA deep mirrors can be seen from hundreds of feet away! The mirrors do have intense clarity and flash. Due to the extreme depth, you can see a micro tiny tick or two if you use a glass. You do not have to imagine the over the top contrast this coin has. The fields have that deep “black gold” look. When you twirl the coin the mirrors have a slight rolling look. Miss Liberty and every detail look like they were sculpted from a frosted block of gold. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
165 were minted. PCGS 5, NGC 3, CAC 2. There are NO auction records for any PCGS PR65 CAC or ANY PCGS PR65 DCameo selling via auction. The current Collectors Universe is $22,500.00. We do know similar pieces have sold in the low $20’s.
